Have you thought about straightening your teeth but the mere idea of wearing metal braces puts you off? Crooked, crowded, gapped and misaligned teeth make many people feel self-conscious, reserved, or even embarrassed about their appearance. However, modern dentistry has come a long way and there are now various solutions to treat misaligned teeth. Unfortunately, most of them take several months to a few years and this can be discouraging for patients who wish to straighten their teeth quickly for a special occasion.
At Smilecraft, we offer Six Month Smiles braces, an innovative and discreet teeth straightening treatment that can give you the smile that you want in a fraction of the time taken with conventional treatments. Six Month Smiles braces focus only on the teeth that show when you smile and are able to straighten your teeth in only six months, on average.
Am I eligible for the treatment?
Six Month Smile braces are designed to achieve results quickly by focusing on the teeth at the front of the mouth. These braces are ideal for patients who want to improve their teeth but have been put off having treatment by the thought of wearing braces for several years. Six Month Smile braces can be used to treat a wide range of minor dental problems, including moderately crooked, misaligned and gapped teeth. Unlike metal braces, Six Month Smiles braces cannot help with bite problems. Our experienced dentists will help you determine whether you are a good candidate for Six Month Smiles in Stevenage.
What does the procedure involve?
Six Month Smiles braces are custom-made to fit your individual dental needs. The dentist will create an impression of your teeth and send them to a special laboratory, where the braces will be created. We will fit the clear brackets and wires according to the treatment plan and while initially it may take a little time getting used to wearing them, any discomfort should diminish very quickly. Treatment is usually complete within six months, but the exact treatment time will vary from individual to individual. Less complicated cases can normally be completed in 4-5 months, whereas more complex cases may require an extra few months.
